I travelled up to Newcastle to run some research labs for this project as part of the National Young Writers Festival. Sarah pictured, is one of this years festival directors and has been a huge inspiration and support for my project, and is seen here in great enthusiasm for my empty workshop. Though no one officially came, there were interesting conversations that happened, randomly with strangers and people that i know and I did the lab in this space on my own. more insights to come. I think i will try and organise some time and space in melbourne soon to explore this further with some interested people. are you one? contact me. write things on this blog if you have any inspirations at all. ive been doing lots of writing and i want to dance this out with someone.

  1. That sure is the face of enthusiasm combined with exhaustion! Let's definitely dance this thing out and then it will find its right place in the program next year and the people will come.

  2. is it vague? dichotomous? slippery?

i think you have more clarity about this than you admit. no need to pin anything down.

    anyway, i'm in!

  3. Yes. I agree with you.
I have more clarity than I am always able to trust. But it is there.
Yes - to own it. To actually dive in and not just slide my toes in and pretend I am scared of the water even though I know I can swim easily and strongly. This is the process.
    Yes, lets go there!
